DSAFS® offers membership options for organizations and individuals dedicated to supporting its standards. Industry Members serve as ambassadors, representing partner associations and institutions while actively maintaining DSAFS® standards through committee participation. Companies committed to these responsibilities are encouraged to apply for the Membership. Academic Members represent institutions that integrate DSAFS® standards into their courses, certifications, and degree programs while also contributing through committee involvement and voting.
Individual Membership is open to anyone who values and supports DSAFS® standards, publications, and values. While certification is not required, members enjoy access to the organization’s resources and initiatives by paying an annual fee. Applications for all membership types are welcomed.

DSAFS-authorized academic support providers offer complete assistance to institutions. These services include providing learning kits, organizing mock tests, and conducting certification exams online. Universities can also help their students access DSAFS certifications at subsidized fees. Additionally, partnering with DSAFS helps institutions accelerate their accreditation process, as many alignment standards are pre-fulfilled through the student certification arrangement.
The DSAFS Corporate Partnership program is designed to enable companies operating in the data science and analytics space to become DSAFS Corporate Partners. Education Provider Requirements
By Industry Standards
Courses must thoroughly prepare graduates with the abilities, skills, and knowledge commonly associated with qualification for employment in a minimally-supervised position in data science and analytics.

DSAFS® Certification
A Foundational Course that Provides an overview of all Data Science and Analytics Disciplines at an Introductory level (no fewer than 26 hours of formal instruction)

Course Catalog
Provider offers, regularly delivers, and maintains a DSAFS®-approved foundational course and/or two or more DSAFS®-approved practitioner-level courses.

Students Volume
Provider can Demonstrate a Minimum of 50 Identifiable Graduates of the Submitted Data Science & Analytics Course.

Quarterly Updates
Each calendar quarter, the provider can show evidence that training material is reviewed and updated to apply to current practices. Provider stays current with all certification requirements.
